Episode Three is up (as you can see).

We've added a new "share" widget through the episodes and on the index page of the site. Please spread the word of our lovely little fish.

There should be one more episode up this summer, and then we'll have a collection with all kinds of goodies at SPX this fall.

Well 2008 was quite the year, but unfortunately not a good year for Sam. Two episodes in 12 months is not how you get a successful Web comic off and running.

With a lot of my web freelance work behind me, I'm using 2009 to get back in to the comics game. Rhiannon and I will be working hard on Sam Koi this year, with an eye towards it's being monthly when it does come back.

We're meeting up this Sunday to get the pencils shaken out for Episode Three, and then it's back to inks and the wonderful underwater world of Sam.

I've joined up with InPrnt to put some prints up for sale. We've put up two Sam pages so far:

Like I said, there are more coming depending on how these go so check them out and tell your friends. And if there are any you want in the future go ahead and comment and let me know.

Rhiannon has sent along story three (along with notes for another future Sam story). We're starting to work more species into Sam's world, which is interesting on a couple of levels:

- It forces me to apply the "Sam" style (simple lines, minimum detail) to more creatures.
- It starts us creating "rules" for Sam's world. For example, I don't think people exist for Sam. Their effects could be seen, but not the people themselves.
